Yeah the old Spawn Mario code won't respawn the coins, you should try the Level Reset code again. Make sure you're pressing Y and are using the correct code for your controller (GameCube or Classic).

The spawn mario code freezes my game upon file select. Is there something I'm missing?

EDIT: Figured out my mistake with the reset code. Couldn't get the timer to start though.
