Tall Tall Mountain

Postby SteveGamesHD » 02 Apr 2014, 15:54

I recently just started running 70 Star, and I need help with one particular star in TTM, it's the star in the waterfall, I really don't have a good way of getting it.

The way I get it now, is I'll long jump off the platform and wall kick twice and ledge grab onto the platform with star. I could really use some suggestions, because 80% of the time I don't get it, and it makes me sad :(

Such Noob, Many Thanks,
Steve ^_^

You might wanna try an easier strat, either the slidekick one in sigs guide or the one I did here, which is the backup for accidentally ledge grabbing but you can do it as a normal strat by just long jumping to the left side of the platform, which is closer: http://youtu.be/2KRiIqWWkIw#t=1h23m

Toast has some good ideas but if none of them work out you can do the strat I do.

I sideflip walljump up to the top like if I were to go to the top of the mountain, then I singlejump toward the waterfall star, hold back and kick. Very easy, it's a bit slow but consistent.

I'm too lazy to link it but check out my vods if you wanna see it! :)

cheers

I highly recommend the strat in the video that toast linked. It's almost as fast as the double wallkick, but way easier to do.
