GameShark Codes

I'm sure I could get this all in 1 second in the tinychat, but I feel there should be a link on the mainpage, or at least a forum topic which lists the useful GameShark Codes for practice.

I finally have a working GameShark and would like all applicable timer & reset codes so that I can grind ILs for 1000 hours and cake 51/147. I'd like the timer code, the no TIME text code, any of the reset codes, the DIE code, etc.

Also if Harper could work on a code which removes music from the game, that'd be great too. Grinding ILs while listening to the Frozen Soundtrack or the latest Katy Perry album will make practicing even more OP.

If I'm dumb and there is in fact such a thread or page, then whoever links me there first can have 25 of my coins. MCoin

Cheers and thank you.

I think removing music from the game reduces lag

What about making the volume really really low? Like... tending to zero Sausage
I like the game music but I prefer to listen to other shit, I guess only SFX would be fine tho

Harper's (LOL) GS/VC Codes(reset level, death code, etc.):

also LMAO at thinking 51 is the same level as 147

there also already is a remove music code, i had it permanently on on emu lol but its not useful on n64 because it reduces lag so ur lag in practice would be inconsistent with lag in runs and would fuk u up

When do you press L to reset the timer so that it's always consistent? It seems like whenever I start a level the timer is at some different place. How do you account for the IL records with this inconsistency? Is there a consistent method?

Pls and thanks.

I think there are two timer codes, automatic and manual. Manual starts immediately when you reset it, the automatic one starts when you enter the level (so you should reset it on the star select screen).

the reset with L timer doesnt run during loading zones, so you can reset it any time from when you enter the painting to during the star screen. i have a habit of spamming L during the star screen when i do runs now because of this lol

dont use automatic timer, even tho you dont have to press l it doesnt work in sublevels making it useless

also if you use harpers code, you should bind reset level to reset timer so that your timer will always be accurate, and even if u forget to reset the timer when you enter the level the 1st time you can just press l after and they will both reset.
