Clicking links opens new tab

I keep finding myself in the mario fail gif thread,forget that clicking a link doesn't automatically open a new tab for you and then I end up closing that tab and find out I'm not on our website anymore lol.

Wondering if we could change that?

however this will not work for older links, those are impossible to change unless they are edited manually
