Yeah, it's true that you don't _need_ speedkicks necessarily but they are fun to do and can help with spacing sometimes. I think it's good to know how to do them, if not just cause they are the coolest thing in the game 8).

If you dont do it correctly its generally not worth it, the only place i really love it is dark world with no reds and for triple jumps when you have a ton of speed
