This didn't work for me, also is there a way to modify the buttom combination?
(Maybe it didn't work because I have start mapped to save state? I'll test later)

HUD for Practice

This code alters the layout and position of the timer as shown, also disabling the lives completely and the TIME ' and " from the timer. Ignore the first line if you already have the hide timer text code.

Huge thanks to BitAlive for all of these addresses! All the stuff you could ever need for this code can be found here:

Notes:
  • Haven't tested any of this on US myself, should be able to do the 1370 hex convert but I don't have time atm, i'll edit later
  • Timer elements are measured from the bottom of the screen, while the other normal HUD elements are measured from the top
  • I'm a noob at GS stuff but this was fun to look into and I learned some things and I hope you enjoy this code touBully

We've just launched a new resource for GameShark practice codes at https://sites.google.com/site/sm64gameshark/.

This turned out to be caused by a GameShark bug and the code has since been fixed.

Code: Select all
1UP Mushroom is instant death (Deadly mushroom)
812F3CA0 A1C0
812F3CA2 00AE

I've tried for a few hours now trying to convert the above code for the Japanese version by finding the difference between a US and JP code and applying the difference. I've tried a far few possibilities but haven't found the right one. The closest result I got was the following which freezes the game when you touch a 1UP.
Code: Select all
812F2BFC A1C0
812F2BFE 00AE

Anyone with more experience able to work it out?
