Strats or tricks that are cool or unused or too difficult to go for in an RTA run?

How do you do this? I can do the BoB bomb clip any day of the week but I've never seen it last that long.

It's similar to how pillarless works. In pless, you do a dive over the hill which activates a glitch extending the bomb's life and letting you ground pound while holding it. In this vid it looks like they do the same trick with that glitchy double jump from the cruiser.

A lot of stuff only in tasks are really cool to watch. You kind of wish they had some use in actual speedrunning though.
